Pinkio: Difference between revisions

Pinkio created a YouTube Channel in July 4th, 2015, though it is unknown why or how the channel existed back then. The first video was uploaded until February 1st, 2018 featuring a game called "Neo-Sonic"<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NzXkmh3tvNs</ref> which were then followed by more videos with Sonic games as the main topic. His first Rolling Sky video was uploaded 1 year and 8 months later (on October 12th, 2019) and it featured the perfect completion of the level "E-Labyrinth".<ref>https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BBbQJi1_EY4</ref>  

Pinkio maintains a semi-active YouTube Channel, where he uploads unique videos of experiments, lists, music montages, updates, information & other features about Rolling Sky. He managed to get to 4,600 subscribers (as of May 2026), being one of the most popular Rolling Sky Content Creators on YouTube. He has also uploaded videos about Dancing Line and Piano Tiles 2, both of them being some of the most popular Cheetah Mobile games (along with Rolling Sky itself).

Pinkio considers it to be "the best video he has ever done", considering it lasts an entire hour & it's also translated to Spanish (his native language). The estimated amount of worktime taken to produce the video was around 40 hours (95+ hours if the recording process of every level individually is also counted). |These videos show a variety of levels' footages (at least two levels) placed together to fit a certain music or song. These are intended to be musical videos, mostly using soundtracks from Pinkio's favorite video games. They were initially inspired on [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BeTLoIcNFCk Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's] montages and related, specially considering he also uploaded a [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5ouyWBXO8JY&t=7s low-quality meme one about the Sonic The Hedgehog Movie] back on March 2019.

Rolling Sky used to have individual leaderboards where, per every time you completed a level, you'd be awarded with one star it (e.g.: beating E-Labyrinth 5 times in a row would grant 5 stars on the rankings for E-Labyrinth specifically).

However, you would lose all your stars on that specific level at the moment you failed to complete it, either by crashing with an obstacle or falling off the ground (Shields, Floaters & leaving the level through the pause menu can be used to avoid this situation).

While you can still get stars, the online rankings were closed around January 28th, 2022 and it is unknown if they will come back, or when.

Pinkio joined the server in the [[Rolling Sky Discord]] era in January 31st of 2019. He had managed to get the Scarab [40+] level role<ref>[https://discord.com/channels/400983101507108874/740928006146490448/1075290880539369492 "@-Pinkio- has rolled their way to Level 40!"] on February 14th, 2023.</ref> and also a place in the server's community, known by many (also helped through the Content Creation on YouTube). # The username "Pinkio" wasn't supposed to have a meaning. It gives the impression of being related to the color "Pink", and Pinkio also jokes with that, [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFn9KAhRBAo&t=128 including making a "pinky finger" joke video for April Fools 2022] where he also explained the backstory of his username.

# The first smartphone shown on Pinkio's videos was a ZTE Z820 Obsidian. Most of his high star streaks were obtained on it. #* Since December 2023, his current phones are: a OnePlus Nord N10 5G [BE2029] and a Motorola Moto E22 [MOTOE22BCO]. Both of them has been used to play & record, but OnePlus gets used more often to play the game due to it having less input lag.

#* Pinkio still owns his Wiko C210AE phone, as shown on his [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ikDROumiD2o A Dream of 7 Years' gameplay with 'internal footage + handcam recording] gameplay (as well as other videos that also show the 'alternate handcam' footage), but it is very rarely used for video production.
