|A series of videos where Pinkio narrates every relevant thing he has lived with the Rolling Sky game, covering events that had influence on it since even before he found about the game's existence. This series started as part of his 18th birthday celebration and all the videos covering up to 2021 were published on July 2022 for the same reason, and he plans to post the same kind of videos covering the future years when they end, as long as he's still actively posting videos on YouTube.

|Everything about Pinkio's World Records with Rolling Sky and other high scores is included here. Rolling Sky used to have individual leaderboards for most levels on which, if you got a perfect run, you could beat the level many consecutive times again and you would get one star per every time you beat the level, but you would lose all your stars at the moment you lost by crashing or falling from the level (Shields & Floaters can be used to avoid this happening). While you can still get stars, the online rankings were closed around January 28th, 2022 and it is unknown if they will come back, or when. The most notable World Records from Pinkio are the following:
* [https://youtu.be/qW4dQZOtRIk <nowiki>Football Field [1010 Stars]</nowiki>]: Achieved on February 3rd, 2020. Pinkio is the first fully-documented case of a player that has reached the 1000 Stars marker on the Rolling Sky level leaderboards, which caused an unknown bug that stopped him from being able to connect to this level's individual rankings, presumably because the servers' database might not be able to handle numbers that are over three-digits long, which could have happened because the developers didn't initially think a player would legitimately reach this far. * [https://youtu.be/6wVAbWq5vdw <nowiki>Championship [53 Stars]</nowiki>]: Done on October 12th-14th, 2020 during a time Pinkio's internet modem was being replaced and he didn't have any sort of internet connection on these days. He considers this to be the "Easiest World Record Ever" (which is also the video's title).
* [https://youtu.be/3huoCHc1HdA <nowiki>Anniversary [8 Stars]</nowiki>]: Recorded on May 11th, 2021. Pinkio was able to record the entire run in just one single video, which is also the reason why he considers this to be the "Fastest World Record Ever", as he basically didn't need to practice at all before attempting it.
* [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K9Gk7oZ6XAc&lc=Ugz6MUtNNar2knJo32R4AaABAg.9ERrzjbxmfw9EUQepQiNFN <nowiki>Rolling Sky v1.0.0 Perfect% Speedrun [8:07.30]</nowiki>]: Attempt done on September 21st, 2020. This is the only time-based speedrun that Pinkio attempted to do with this game, as Rolling Sky practically doesn't feature any time-based features due to the fact the levels always has the same length, so the difficulty of this speedrun remains in navigating fastly on the menus and perfecting the levels.

|These are Rolling Sky videos that were either made or translated to the Spanish language. This was initially done to attract spanish public because Pinkio's native language is Latin American Spanish, as he's from Guatemala and English is his second language. Some other videos about single level completions might even have their title & description translated to Japanese & Chinese (Traditional). For the most part, he stopped translating the videos to Spanish & other languages because it takes too much time & work for him to do.

—Pinkio

Pinkio is a skilled Rolling Sky Player and Content Creator from Guatemala. He has gotten attention on YouTube for the creation of creative content in the Rolling Sky Content Creator Community, and is also known in Rolling Lounge.

YouTube

Pinkio created a YouTube Channel in July 4th, 2015, though it is unknown why or how did the channel exist back then. The first video was uploaded until February 1st, 2018 featuring a game called "Neo-Sonic"[1] which were then followed by more videos with Sonic games as topic. His first Rolling Sky video was uploaded 1 year and 8 months later (on October 12th, 2019) and it featured the perfect completion of the level "E-Labyrinth".[2]

Pinkio maintains an active YouTube Channel, where he uploads unique videos of experiments, lists, music montages, updates & other features about Rolling Sky. He managed to get to 2800 subscribers (as of June 2023), being one of the most popular Rolling Sky Content Creators on YouTube. He ocasionally uploads videos about other videogames he likes, but he usually turns notifications off on them to not disturb the normal flow of the Rolling Sky videos. He has also uploaded videos about Dancing Line and Piano Tiles 2, two other popular Cheetah Mobile games that he has played a lot too.

External Camera Recording Style

A notable trait of Pinkio was the unique recording type which didn't feature a screen recording of the gameplay, but a video of the screen of his phone taken with an external camera. This recording style is still kept until today and the reasons for this style were explained in a separate video.[3]

Most of his videos about mobile games feature this trait. Some of them even use the external audio, but he usually mutes it and manually replaces it with music placed over the video depending on the level or event he's playing.

The main reason why he chose to record his videos with this method are because, when he started recording Rolling Sky videos, his phone wasn't powerful enough to handle an internal recording app. Most of the time he has recorded on the dining room of his house using a bread container and empty medicine boxes to hold a phone that works as a camera which faces down, and below on the table he uses another phone where he plays the game. Even though Pinkio has got better phones by now, he got used to this recording method since then and still uses it, using other objects to hold the phone in the case he records in other places.

Another reason why he uses this recording method is to show his hands' movements while he plays, so it would be easier to understand which movements he does at any part of the gameplay. This was inspired by some of SHAvibe's videos of Rolling Sky and the Glory YT's videos of Piano Tiles 2. He had considered recording both internal and external footage, but he prefers to keep only the external footage so any kind of text he adds will fit better at the sides on his videos.

Playlists // Content Categories

The content that Pinkio uploads on YouTube varies a lot as he uploads anything that he thinks it's fun to watch or worth recording, but asides from these experimental videos, he also often uploads some specific categories of videos. The following is a table with all the Pinkio's YouTube playlists about his Rolling Sky videos or other related games.

Playlist Description
Top-Level Lists Lists that order the levels according to which of them fits better on certain topics, like emotional or underrated levels. It was initially inspired on Phuong Nguyen's Top 5 videos, and most of these are based on Pinkio's personal opinions, the community's opinions and some other data.
Evolution Lists These lists are like the Top-Level ones, but instead of the levels being ordered from "Worst to Best", they are ordered in chronological order (from "Oldest to Newest"). These videos tend to have more levels included on them due to the fact all of the levels from that topic are included there, not just the best ones.
RS Fanmades Contains all the videos about content created by the community, at least refering to levels & other creations. All of Pinkio's custom levels are included here. Check below on this article for a table that describes all of the levels he has created.
RS Montages These videos show a variety of levels' footages (at least two levels) put together to fit a certain music or song. These are intended to be musical videos including any random song that Pinkio likes, mostly using soundtracks from his favorite video games. They were initially inspired on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate's montages and related, specially considering he also uploaded a low-quality meme one about the Sonic The Hedgehog Movie back on March 2019.
Rolling Sky Updates (2016 - 2020) A series of videos where Pinkio plays every single major Rolling Sky update but 5 years after they were originally released, starting from version 1.2.8 (September 2016) which added the level Tetris (which was known as "XIII" due to the levels using roman numbers as their names in the past). The main purpose of this series is to archive all the important updates that Rolling Sky had throughout its development up until Monster City, which was the last level before the developers temporally stopped working on the game. As every video of this series is intended to be uploaded 5 years after a new level was released, the order of the years to be uploaded on this series is the following:
  • 2021 = 2016.
  • 2022 = 2017.
  • 2023 = 2018.
  • 2024 = 2019.
  • 2025 = 2020.

Click here for a list of all the Rolling Sky levels with its release date (Image Credit: TechNewVideo), and here for a summary of every new level's update (which also includes release dates but with the app icons and the update numbers in the description of the video).

Rolling Sky Yearly Content These are playlists that includes all the Rolling Sky-related videos that Pinkio uploaded on every year. These playlists are the following:
Pinkio's Story with Rolling Sky A series of videos where Pinkio narrates every relevant thing he has lived with the Rolling Sky game, covering events that had influence on it since even before he found about the game's existence. This series started as part of his 18th birthday celebration and all the videos covering up to 2021 were published on July 2022 for the same reason, and he plans to post the same kind of videos covering the future years when they end, as long as he's still actively posting videos on YouTube.
World Records Everything about Pinkio's World Records with Rolling Sky and other high scores is included here.
  • Football Field [1010 Stars]: Achieved on February 3rd, 2020. This world record also has a separate playlist that can be found here.
  • Championship [53 Stars]: Done on October 12th-14th, 2020 during a time Pinkio's internet modem was being replaced and he didn't have any sort of internet connection on these days. He considers this to be the "Easiest World Record Ever" (which is also the video's title).
  • Anniversary [8 Stars]: Recorded on May 11th, 2021. Pinkio was able to record the entire run in just one single video, which is also the reason why he considers this to be the "Fastest World Record Ever", as he basically didn't need to practice at all before attempting it.
  • Rolling Sky v1.0.0 Perfect% Speedrun [8:07.30]: Attempt done on September 21st, 2020. This is the only time-based speedrun that Pinkio attempted to do with this game, as Rolling Sky practically doesn't feature any time-based features due to the fact the levels always has the same length, so the difficulty of this speedrun remains in navigating fastly on the menus and perfecting the levels.
Rodando Cielo] These are Rolling Sky videos that were either made or translated to the Spanish language.

The following ones are the most relevant playlists that might not be related directly with Rolling Sky.

Playlist Description
Challenges/Achievements Most of the hardest challenges or highest scores that Pinkio has gotten on any videogame are included here. Pinkio recognizes he isn't a Top Professional on any game, but he also knows his skill ceiling is often a lot higher than the average. He considers that his most unique achievement is beating the first level of both Geometry Dash and Rolling Sky at the same time, also getting all the coins on GD and a perfect run on RS.
Pinkio's Hall-Of-Fame This is practically a mix-up of Pinkio's most relevant videos, and his favorites from the ones he has uploaded. The playlist is quite long for its title and it includes a large variety of games on it.
Bugs/Glitches It contains videos that shows bugs, glitches, errors & malfunctions that he has found on any kind of video games.
Dancing Line Stuff Content about Dancing Line is shared here. Although he played a bit of the game on 2019 and 2020, he didn't seriously get into it until January 2021, when he uploaded a gameplay of The Beginning. He later was able to play more when he got a better phone. He completed The Chinese Garden on March 11st, 2021, and The Racing on April 1st, 2022.
Piano Tiles 2 Stuff Content about Piano Tiles 2. Since this was another of Cheetah Mobile's games, it's how Pinkio found about Rolling Sky back on August 2016. He played this game the most on 2019, and he changed his gamestyle from thumbs to 4-fingers around September from that year.
Geometry Dash Stuff Videos where Pinkio plays any level from Geometry Dash. He started playing on January 2015. His in-game user is Pinkio[4] and has uploaded some levels, most of them being low quality ones made just for fun, and his most notable one being "Soccer", which is based on the football team "FC Barcelona" and the level has over 13k downloads and 600+ likes as of June 2023.[5]
Sonic The Hedgehog - Fangames & Stuff Contains videos about Sonic The Hedgehog™ games & fangames. He's fond of Sonic Robo Blast 2, a fangame that he plays since around 2008, joining online multiplayer on late 2016, and on 2017 his netgames friends brought him to Discord & made him interested on joining more gaming communities in general.[6]
Earthbound // Mother - Full Story Summary A series of gameplays about the Earthbound saga, which are some of Pinkio's favorite games. These videos are unique because they cut all the extra content that doesn't deal with the game's lore to make the videos shorter so viewers can watch its gameplay on way less time, removing around 2/3 of the length that it would take to complete the games by normal means. A spanish gameplay version was also intended to be made but it's uncomplete because it lacks the gameplay of Mother 3.
Random Games Stuff Content about other games that don't fit on the previous playlists are often shared here. The most notable videos on this list are the Steve Minecraft doing Fortnite Default Dance but it's Despacito and Hidden JoJo-Reference in Terraria videos, both of them intended to be memes which unintentionally became the most viewed videos on his channel during some time between 2019 and 2020 respectively.[7]
Pinkio's 18th Birthday Celebration This was made to celebrate Pinkio's 18th birthday, which was on July 3rd, 2022. To celebrate it, he uploaded a total of 9 videos from 9 of his favorite videogames (or related), all in the same day. The last video of the day was the start of the "Pinkio's Story with Rolling Sky" series, which was also made throughout July 2022 (covering up until the year 2021) as part of the celebration. He considers it was one of the most important days of his life, both before and after the day passed.

Discord

Pinkio joined the server in the Rolling Sky Discord era in January 31st of 2019. After some periods of activity and inactivity, he had managed to get the Scarab [40+] level role[8] and also a place in the server's community, known by many (also helped through the Content Creation on YouTube). On April 21st of 2021, Pinkio was promoted to Jr. Staff in the server after a successful staff application, taking the roles of Moderation and Configuration in the server until December 31st of 2021, when he was demoted of the staff team due to lack of time for moderation.[9] Most of the time he uses his computer, he leaves Discord open and talks on Rolling Lounge at random times.

Achievements

Rolling Sky YouTuber Ranking

In an estimated list of Rolling Sky Content Creators sorted by the most subscribers, Pinkio has managed to get in the Top 20 of the most popular Rolling Sky YouTubers with a total of 2.8 thousand subscribers as of June 10th of 2023.

World Records

Pinkio has attempted several world records for getting the most consecutive successful playthroughs of a level (measured with the term "Stars" in Rolling Sky itself) and has also succeeded in many.

Football Field

He is the World Record holder of getting 1000 stars on the 2 star level "Football Field". A footage of him getting 1k stars in this level was uploaded on YouTube and got decent attention with 1.7k views (Last update: November 21st, 2021) and a lot of congratulations by the community. In all of Rolling Sky, he is the first person who legitimally got to 1k stars in any level at all, making this World Record a very significant one.[10]

Championship

Another World Record was held on the 2 star level "Championship", on which he managed to get a maximum of 53 consecutive playthroughs. This was classified as the "Easiest World Record Ever" by him.[11]

Anniversary

This World Record was considered the "Fastest", as it only required 7 stars to do so. This wasn't considered much of an achievement though and was done just for fun.[12]
