Galaxy

From Rolling Lounge Wiki

Galaxy is Alex343xd's 1st 0.2b Rolling Sky Remake level and his 4th level overall. It has 10 gems and 3 crowns. The creator, Alex, considers it "something truly painful", as it's in the 6 star range. The level includes heavy details, barely having any empty spaces except for the last part, which he intentionally has left empty.

Themes

Galaxy is a space-themed level featuring UFO's, lasers used in Ignite and satellite towers, although it doesn't feature the towers from Deep Space much as at the time, Alex didn't know how to add them into the level. At the end, the background begins to change rapidly and the screen proceeds to glitch out, before becoming normal again for the last 4 jumps. Galaxy also makes use of the Scan Lines filter.

In the making

This level was the result of Alex343xd coming back to rsr and discovering that 0.2b has released, after which he liked the deep space theme and made Galaxy. It has also gotten a few previews

External connections

Galaxy isn't extremely popular, but it has gotten a bonus that Alex describes as "Galaxy for people who don't want to break their fingers". That level uses many more filters and custom themes made using the hue shift effect

Trivia

  • This level was crowned Alex343xd's hardest, but was soon dethroned in favour of his upcoming "sakupen hell" level
  • This level has a lot of theme changes and effects, making it kinda painful to the vulnerable eye. Alex even said that "not only does its hurt your fingers, it's also hurts your eyes.".
  • This level was originally party themed and used music made by Alex himself, but it was later changed due to him liking the deep space theme a lot and as the music used was not fitting and had a lot of poor parts
  • This level was originally planned to be longer, but that didn't happen as the level was long enough and he would have nowhere to stop except for at the end of the song, which would've added another 2 minutes of gameplay
