L E V E L W A V E was inspired by Fashwave (a portmanteau of "fascism" and "wave") which is a derivative aesthetic of Synthwave or Vaporwave which is associated with alt-right/far-right/dissident right beliefs like upholding tradition, maintaining racial purity, Anti-Semitism, ultranationalism, and a rejection of post-modernist thought. While the far-right and controversial contents of this genre was seen as controversial and not right, the concept of a montage with a song playing with the -wave main genre was receptioned positively, hence making the inspiration for L E V E L W A V E .

==F R E E W A V E==

F R E E W A V E is the continuation of the project with the goal of covering the entire song with screenshots. This wave started shortly after L E V E L W A V E released and is still going on until today. It will remain open until there will be enough screenshots to use the entire song.
