In the earlier days of the SMP, Main Island was the most active settlement in the server mainly because there was still space to build on and the accessibility and mobility of bases outside of MI was limited, although there were already players wishing to live outside of it. This was changed when on July 21st of 2021, a sabotage/grief was done on the island by 2 players with the help of another player. This sabotage included setting forests on fire, moving/changing/destroying blocks of houses and theft on storages. While the issues have been fixed by banning the players and adding a whitelist to prevent malicious people joining, this event resulted players to lose trust in living in Main Island, giving them the desire to settle at other places, combined with the space that was running out in there.

A player called Osaka2 was also among them, searching for a new place to settle in. On July 25th of 2021, he was accompanied by AZMindroma to plan a base built together. The discussion was held in private in order to prevent any further sabotage attempts due to the distrustful atmosphere in the server at that moment. A location was searched and among a few potential candidates, an area at around -800 -400 was chosen as the best location due to a mountain being nearby.
