Inversion Is a 0.2b/0.3b (made in 0.3b but playable in 0.2b) RSR level made by Alex343xd. It's a hard 4 star, featuring forgiving gameplay but fast level speed. This level is generally praised by the community due to the quality it had at the time, as "effect spam" wasnt a thing back then.
Themes
Inversion mainly uses the CITS and Monody themes, along with their Monochromatic counterparts, the actual main themes. The level is mainly glitch based, especially at the end. In terms of obstacles, Inversion mostly uses "Assembling obstacles" (the main parts come out of nowhere and get conjoined), but also uses other basic obstacles (spikes, smashers etc.)
Gameplay
There's not much to say about the gameplay, you may get confused by all of the Assembling obstacles, as they can get messy in large quantities. It is also a hard 4 star.
In the making
Just like a lot of other alex343xd levels, Inversion had a couple of previews as well. It has also changed since those previews. This level is also the first alex343xd level to have variations, such as a Hot Fix (made minimal changes to make the level better) and a LDM that reduced the quantity and strength of effects.
Trivia
- Just like stated before, inversion was half-made in 0.3b, but it includes no 0.3b elements, so it's playable on 0.2b as well.
- Inversion is actually not Alex's first level to use DnB songs, but it is the only released one.
- The song it uses is the instrumental of Opposition by Maevings, although it is slightly shortened using an mp3 cropper.
- Inversion is the most wide-spread Alex343xd level, appearing in all of the RSR servers, along with the 2 variants mentioned above.
- Inversion was originally called chrome and would use trees in the monody theme, as they looked like they were made out of metal.
