The Lair is a channel in Rolling Lounge, located in the Community category. Unlike other channels, this channel has the unique characteristic of frequently changing its names in irregular periods of time.

—Channel description

History

The Lair was first mentioned on November 23rd, 2020.^[1], originally named #among-us. Although originally made as a joke, the channel was an attempt to host Among Us related events in the server, though it was first kept hidden from the public. However, with the seeming decline of the game, the idea was scrapped. January 31st, 2021 was when the first message on that channel was posted^[2] and on February 10th, the channel opened for selected people. It was this date where the channel name changes began, with the channel getting renamed to #spamming, #prison and so on. After several channel name changes, the channel was opened to the public and the cycle of the channel changes kept going.

Intially, the names were changed manually. Afterwards, the Blue Heaven bot was used. Then the role of renaming zhe channel was moved the Meridion bot.
