To create that theory, several servers were inspected and several testing servers created to see what keeps people active. One study of this theory included the clear benefit of a server if it has a defined topic. This theory elaborates this by saying that people who are interested in a topic would rather search a Discord server which had that interest as main topic to ensure that it'd be clear that the members of the server shared the same interest as the member did which would be a benefit in terms of conversation possibilities.
