{{Infobox Game | image =RSR.png | caption = Rolling Sky Remake's old icon | gamename =Rolling Sky Remake (or shortly, RSR) | developer =Pão (Formerly), sqdldev | releasedate =March 14th, 2021 | firstversion =0.0.2a | currentversion =1.3.0r | website =https://sites.google.com/view/rsremake/home }} '''Rolling Sky Remake''' (abbreviated as '''RSR''') is a game developed by [https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC1Ve9GG6ei3MvjE4eOiuFVQ Pão]. It is an easier and more accessible way to edit RS levels with the cost of being more limited. It includes an user friendly level editor along with a level importer & exporter so you can play the levels of others, or even edit them (some levels have passwords that you need to enter in to edit the level). == Editing == Rolling Sky Remake offers a set of obstacles from Rolling Sky which are not 100% complete however. To manage audio in your level, you have to upload your own audio file to use it inside of a level. The speed also ranges from 1 to 12 with decimals and it lets you Preview (playing the level without the ball, leaving you without the need to play through the level without dying) or Play (playing the level normally) your level whilst editing. You can also set spawn points so whenever you play your level in the editor, you would always start at the start points position (somewhat similar to the start pos from Geometry Dash) There are 22 themes available, but there were 10 in older versions. The game lets you choose your starting theme. A level name and author can be chosen, along with a description for version 0.0.5a (was later removed). All the settings mentioned before would've commonly bugged out after playing the level, meaning the you needed to set up your speed, music, theme etc. manually every time you played a level, but this was later fixed in 0.1b, along with many catastrophic bugs. The game saves your level in a .rsr file. Before in version 0.0.4a, it saved it in a .png format, the in game editor also didn't exist, so you had to paint the editor. an image editor. As of version 0.1b, the .rsr format was reworked, so levels made in versions 0.0.5a and 0.0.5.1a won't work == Playing == Rolling Sky Remakes gameplay is similar to those of RS, but not perfectly equal due to the different collision system, ball control system and occasional bugs. To play a level, you must hit the play button and scroll to "Import", then chose the desired .rsr file and play it. == Trivia == * This game had an Easter Egg where you have a small chance to have your background changed to the Volcanos theme instead of the Massif theme, but was removed due to the GUI rework in version 0.1b. * There were recreations of the first 5 levels in the play section, but they were removed as of Version 0.1b. * This game has 2 dedicated and official Discord Servers, Rolling Sky Gênesis and RL | Rolling Sky Remake. * Music from the YouTube to MP3 converting site ytmp3.cc doesn't always work due to codec incompatibilities provided by the website.
